Cash Fazal has been practicing immigration law since 2018. She specializes in deportation defense, family-based immigration, board of immigration appellate work and refugee/humanitarian legal aid. She currently handles nearly 40% of pro bono cases and has worked with non-profit organizations such as Hyde Park Refugee Center, Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, Heartland Alliance and Catholic Charities of Kentucky to help process asylum seekers. Ms. Fazal’s work has been featured by Princeton University, Northwestern University and University of Chicago. Her refugee work in the community has also been featured on WTTW, ABC News, WGN Radio and other platforms.
Ms. Fazal is an active member of the State Bar of New Mexico and is also licensed in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Since she practices on the federal level, she can represent clients around the country.
Ms. Fazal was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois where she completed her undergraduate degree at DePaul University. She then obtained her Masters and went on to complete her Juris Doctorate and LLM in Arizona.
